Dr Shichuo Li, Co Chair of the Global Campaign Against Epilepsy and President of the China Association Against Epilepsy meets with Dr Margaret Chan, WHO Director General
Following the recent launch of the WHO Mental Health Intervention Guide to make care more acceptable, as an activity of the mhGAP project, the WHO has created a video and podcast looking at how the WHO is integrating mental health into primary health care systems. The video and podcast include comments from Dr Margaret Chan, WHO Director General; Dr Shichuo Li, Co Chair of the Global Campaign Against Epilepsy and President of the China Association Against Epilepsy; Doctor Shekhar Saxena, WHO’s Director of the Mental Health and Substance Abuse Department; and Zhaoming, a person with epilepsy in China. The video also reports on the Global Campaign Demonstration Project in China and the important impact it has had for people with epilepsy in rural China.
